About Me
I have always been a creative person, but my design career really began when I started school at the Art Institute of Colorado. I spent an intensive three years refining my talent and developing new techniques while at the art institute, after spending the three previous years in mainstream education. While at the Art Institute of Colorado I learned more than I ever thought I would about design and specifically Industrial Design. I truly enjoyed the time I spent at school. For my last two years I worked at the school in both the computer lab and the industial design shop. I graduated the top of my class and received Alpha Beta Kappa.

After finishing school, I worked for Monigle Associates where I worked in the industrial design department as a drafts person and 3D designer. I learned how a design company functions from concept to presentation. My tasks included drawing signage for major corporate clients in Autocad, and linking those drawings to a database. In addition to working with Autocad, I initiated the companies advancement to rendering designs in 3D using 3D Studio Max.

The next step in my design career brought me to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where I worked as an Arts Professional for the Office of Institutional Planning and Major Projects. The main focus of my position there was to produce media for the transition from the older main campus to the new Fitszimons campus. Primarily I produced maps and graphics that were used for presentations from the Board of Regents to the contractors working at both locations. I was also responsible for the identity of the Office of Inst. Planning including developing a new website design.

I currently live in Austin where I have spent most of my working life in the tech industry. While I have learned a lot from this line of work, I believe that my skills and talents are best suited for design and the creative industries.
